Wuerttemberg, Kingdom, Digit in Rhombus-New Nominals, 1896/1900, Michel Nr;. 104-106; Three new nominals of 2Pf, 3Pf and 25Pf were issued.
In order to introduce the new stamp to the general public specimen copies of the stamp were released by postal authorities to the press. In order to avoid that these samples were used in order to harm the post they were overprinted with „Probe zur Frankatur nicht verwendbar“ (Specimen not valid as postage). Here is a mint hinged specimen of the 2Pf value with full original gum.

Here are all three nominals as imperforate trial prints. They are all mint never hinged with full original gum. All signed „Richter“. Listed in Michel under 104PU, 105PU and 106PU.
